How to use XStation and how it works

Once XStation is plugged into PlayStation 3, it will disable internal Wi-Fi of the PlayStation 3 and act as if it is the internal Wi-Fi device of the PlayStation 3. A new functionality will be available on main screen, which is “Connect to XBox Live”. Once user activates the feature, the user will be asked to login to XBox Live as if the user is using XBox 360 instead of a PlayStation 3. Once user connects to XBox Live and joins a game (assuming the game is not exclusive to PS3 nor have any PS3 exclusive feature that is activated), the input from PS3 will be sent to XBox Live server after being converted inside XStation. When XBox Live returns a game related data, XStation will decode it and convert it into a data that PlayStation 3 can understand. It will be relayed back and forth.
